Henny Soon Chiang Wee
Henny Soon Chiang Wee was the founder of Henny Wee & Co, a firm of certified public accountants registered at the HKSA (predecessor of HKICPA) since 1988.
Henny completed his BA of Commerce from the University of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia in March 1971. He became an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia in July 1975 and a Certified Public Accountant of the Hong Kong Society of Accountants the predecessor of HKICPA since 1988.
He also acts as an independent non-executive director of Yuzhou Properties Company Limited Stock Exchange (01628) since 9 October 2009. He is also the chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee and the Nomination Committee of the same company. Mr. Wee was also an independent nonexecutive director of the Quaypoint Corporation Limited (now known as China uptown group company limited) a Cayman Islands incorporated company listed on the HKSE (02330), from September 2001 to November 2006.
Simon Yan Man Yau
Simon Yau, a chartered accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) is also a member of Hong Kong Institute Certified Public Accountants and has been in the accounting profession for over forty years.
Simon served as an article clerk in England with Thornton Baker, returned to Hong Kong to work in Price Waterhouse & Co., in early 1980, worked in China for an American- Sino oil-exploration joint venture for two years before he returned to Hong Kong in 1984 to join the partnership practice of Hung Yau Chan & Co. He subsequently commenced his own public accounting practice as Simon Yau & Co., until early 2016 when he merged his practice with that of a former colleague from Price Waterhouse & Co., and continue their combined practices as SWC & Partners.
